Internship at NVDE: Public Affairs

As of April 2020, for a period of 3 to 6 months for 4 days a week. The NVDE is an association of companies that is committed to an energy supply that is entirely based on renewable energy. By joining forces from the entire sector, the NVDE wants to accelerate the energy transition process with strength, inspiration and great enthusiasm. The NVDE represents more than 1,000 companies in the renewable energy sector. This organization is at the vibrant heart of the switch to sustainable energy in the Netherlands. Dutch and European politics are essential to achieving our objective. As a public affairs intern you support contacts and monitoring of politics in The Hague and Brussels. Your tasks look like this: Implementation strategy for European policy advocacy. Specific follow-up of the Green Deal. Follow and report on relevant consultations and debates in the House of Representatives Thinking along with and preparing for input towards consultation in the House of Representatives Provide support in the field of media and events Provide weekly political monitor In addition, there is scope to conduct any (graduation) research. We are looking for an enthusiastic university student, preferably in the field of political science or public administration, but at least interested in politics and policy. You are a social person, who easily makes contacts and is not afraid to approach people. You are also independent, critical and more than average interested in sustainability. You will receive a good internship allowance. After your internship you have good practical experience within a professional organization and you have increased your network within the sustainable society.
