Meet the board members of 2024

Teije Nolen

Chair

Hello there! I'm Teije Nolen, currently, I am in the first year of my master's in Strategic Product Design at the TU Delft. Before this, I completed my bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Engineering and took on the role of Partnerships Manager at Delft Hyperloop. During this year I have had the privilege of working with multiple companies, several of which were actively involved in the energy transition sector. This experience has grown my interest and passion for this field.

As a member of the Energy Club, my goal is to gain inspiration in the field of energy transition. Also, I strive to facilitate connections between students and organizations and promote the exploration of opportunities in this area.

Laura Linuesa-Domenech

Secretary

Hello! My name is Laura and I’m studying my first year of the Master in Sustainable Energy Technologies. I studied for my Bachelor in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering at the University of Edinburgh in the UK, where I was also actively involved in the hyperloop team of my university. Since I was little I have been very aware of climate change and wanting to specialize in renewable energy, which is why I chose my degree and now my Master. I think we are living in a critical time and accelerating the energy transition is key, involving as many of us as possible.

As part of the Energy Club Board, I want to bring together students and provide them with opportunities to choose a fulfilling career in energy. See you at one of our events!

Korina Dedousi

External Relations

Hi! My name is Korina Dedousi and I am currently pursuing my master’s in Sustainable Energy Technology. I completed my first degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece. In parallel, I attended a summer school focusing on renewable energy sources and volunteered on the environmental team of my university. During this time, I would like to continue learning about initiatives in the energy sector, environmental challenges, and how the industry contributes to addressing and mitigating climate risks. I am particularly interested in offshore wind energy and energy management systems.

As a member of the Energy Club, I want to raise awareness among the university community about the sustainable energy transition and the exciting opportunities it presents. Hope to see you at one of our events!

Maxime Iserief

Board Coordinator

Hi! My name is Maxime Iserief, and I am currently in the first year of my master Integrated Product Design at the TU Delft. After getting my bachelor's degree in Industrial Design Engineering and joining the Delft Hyperloop team for a year, I decided that even though my studies didn't focus on the energy transition, I definitely still wanted to participate and learn about all the possibilities! I would like to continue in the field of design for mobility, which is a sector that is already innovating but still has a long way to go, and where energy itself plays a major role.

With the Energy Club, I wish to make my fellow students more aware of the energy transition and the exciting opportunities and challenges that come with it. After all, we have to do it together to succeed. Hopefully, I will see you at one of our events!

Christos Lois

Board Coordinator

Hello there! My name is Christos Lois and I’m a first-year Master’s student in Management of Technology at TPM! After completing my first Bachelor’s and Master’s studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in Greece, on Chemical Engineering, I specialized in Hydrogen utilization in various processes. My proclivity toward energy independence and sustainable production was therefore as much, a result of my technical background, as it was of my social awareness that predicates the environmental crisis.

As a member of the Energy Club Board, I aim to reaffirm the importance of alternative energy sources and underline the significance of hydrogen in the future of the energy market. By combining my fields of study I hope to bridge the gap between technical innovations and industry to facilitate the future of the energy transition.
