Combined Heat and Power plant visit

On December 8th, FMVG will give us a tour of the Combined Heat and Power (CHP in English, WKK in Dutch) on the campus. The plant generates electricity and thermal energy for the TU. Currently the two gas turbines which are used in the plant have been taken out and will be reinstalled in about half a year. Even without the two gas turbines there is plenty to see and talk about in the CHP plant! We may organise a follow up excursion next year to form a "before & after" view.
